This has been hanging around for a while but now there is an English article about the new portal [1], we've not come around to write something more technical (as needed for the JWS call). Also, the data layer is not Linked Data in RDF, but it's definitely linked data on the inside so I think it's relevant and it shows the power of the link infrastructure.
