Certainly useful for SemWeb people to be visible on Facebook, and also
to learn more about how such sites operate in practice. But I'm hesitant
about setting up a parallel group on Semantic Web. For better or worse,
there already is one, and they have not declared themselves to be just
for talking about RDF technology details. Facebook is not a natural home
to highly detailed RDF engineering questions; we have mailing lists that
are better for that. But it is a good place to discuss at a broader
level how SemWeb fits into the technology world. I suggest simply using
the existing one, and maybe making some gentle suggestions for the group
direction/description. There are 200 people in there already. By W3C
mailing list measures, that's a significant number.

cheers,

Dan
