3. Add Typographic conventions section?

  See:
http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/introduction.html#typographic-conventions

Pick better colors!! Yellow on green = yuck!

The CSSWG recently revamped its spec conventions based on the input of
one of our members who is a fairly skilled designer. It's undergoing
a trial run in several currently-edited specs like
<http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-values>.

I find it pretty attractive, personally. We could take the same or a
similar design for SVG specs.

I have started an experiment with Ben Schwartz to improve the legibility of specs. and we have a prototype in place:

https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/FXTF/raw-file/0ae665082f8d/custom/index.html

This does not have all of Ben's input yet, but I thought I would share the progress on this proposal. Ben has done great work in the Whatwg:

FYI,
Vincent

I should have mentioned two things:

- Jerry Maddox has kindly provided a lot of guidance on typography rules for the prototype design.
- Ben has made his work available under CC0 terms so that we can use parts of it as needed.

Cheers,
Vincent
