I think it will help, but just a very tiny bit.
I wouldn't spend much effort in trying to spread the logo.
This swiss map site would be an easy target though.

"SVG used in latest product" feed/page would i think be a better idea.
Sort of what Antoine Quint did for SVG phones some years ago, but then
updated by a community and not limited to phones.
