RE: using schema.org

Hello Alex and Timothy

First of all i want to thank you guys that you both replied my email very
quickly. My problem is every time when i want to upload our products on
google Merchant center, i get some of error messages which mentioning about
missing schema.org Microdatas.

İ suppose this information has something to do with our website webmasters
coz i see some html codes which are triggering the specified products.

By the way i have found this page On schema.org. i guess we have to start
from that section. Or i am guessing wrong? (ps: i apologize form y poor
english)

Best regards!

Guven,

Google Merchant Center feed doesn't use schema.org markup, the more commonly
used format is the XML one I believe.

 <https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188478?hl=en-GB> Data feeds
overview - Google Merchant Center Help

A data feed is a file made up of a list of products which use groupings of
attributes that define each one of your products in a unique way.
Attributes, such as ...

As Timothy Holborn says, you can use schema.org markup to structure the data
on your own website, which given your question about the merchant center is
presumably an ecommerce site. If you're using Magento it is relatively easy
to add the schema.org markup to the Magento theme.

Adding structured data to your website is a completely different process
than the merchant center data feed, you can do either or both. For Google
Merchant Center specifically I suggest you look at the above link to the
Google Merchant Center Help, this is unrelated to schema.org.

Hope this helps.

Alex

?

this makes not much sense. Do you mean you want to add schema.org mark-up
on your website? if so, does this mean you are using a content management
system such as WordPress or Drupal? perhaps links i have collected here:
