The design specified in the previous draft of this document ([24]30 March 2007 draft) was intended to serve as a core, common to all RIF dialects. The Working Group has since decided to lower its priority on designing a common core and to first progress on the design of a logic dialect. With this in mind, the previous core design has been renamed and improved and is available as [25]RIF Basic Logic Dialect (BLD). There is also a publication, [26]RIF RDF and OWL Compatibility. At the time of this publication, it has not yet been determined whether or not a new design for RIF Core will be published in the future.
