Re: Wrap-Up of Meet-Up at ESWC2014

Hi all,

I don’t see YQL as short-term solution. We will always have to cope with endpoints which don’t have CORS. This is a common problem in web development. Analogous to modernizr.com for HTML5 feature detection I would like to have an feature detection for SPARQL endpoints to easily detect which features (e.g. CORS) an endpoint supports. We proposed something like this at the last ESWC summer school, but unfortunately nobody continued this work.

http://brackets.io/ for all web development … love the quick edit function!
