Before replying to Ivan's email, I must make some important comments:


  1) Having multiple local interpretations inside a global 
interpretation is not at all novel nor at odds with the theories 
discussed among circles of logicians dealing with context, since a 
couple of decades or maybe more. Moreover, your claim is an argument 
from authority.

  2) Nothing in RDF semantics 2004 imposes that a URI must have a single 
interpretation everywhere, all the time, for every one. The 
interpretation of a URI is fixed *only if* you fix an RDF interpretation 
I. But nothing requires that a single RDF interpretation be fixed once 
and for all, for everyone. (and if I say something wrong wrt the spec, 
you can simply point to the place where it says otherwise).

  3) The current definition of entailment in the dataset semantics is 
indeed not quite standard and I'll changed that. It's a trivial fix 
which does not change in any way the inferences, but thanks for 
mentionning it.

  4) It'd be *much* easier if you could write down a counter proposal.

And finally, I know model theory, please avoid your condescending 
paragraphs in order to have a healthy conversation. Thanks in advance.
