RE: span test

Shane,

Sorry, I should have been clearer: What I meant was
that there are no rendering problems, as I understood
my action [1]. IIRC it was empty span vs. span with some
white space.

But anyhow, frankly, I don't know how to inspect
the DOM in IE7 (but for FF :) - any thoughts?
