CURIE plural (was:meeting record: 2006-03-27 RDF-in-XHTML TF telecon)

Dear all,

re

> 3. CURIEs plural in property, rel, rev, ...

Reading the latest wg notes, I'd like to reply to Mark's statement ("I was
initially in favor but an issue was raised last time that gave me pause. It does
get difficult to read if there's a long list of space-separated values for an
attribute").

As you know, the IPTC NewsML2 Architecture wg is planning to use CURIEs as
metadata values.

Ex: <subject code="thm:15001001" />

    <genre code="gnr:wrapup" />

    <description role="rol:caption">the caption associated with a
picture</description>

Ex: <person>

      <name>Marilyn Monroe</name>

      <name role="scp:original">Norma Jeane Mortenson</name>

      <name role="scp:baptismal">Norma Jeane Baker</name>

      <name role="scp:married">Norma Jeane Dougherty</name>

      <name role="scp:work scp:usual">Marilyn Monroe</name>

    </person>

As you see we intend to use CURIEs in a plural form (NMTOKENS) at least on our
"role" attribute. And we don't believe that the (usually low) multiplicity will
hinder the readability.
