From what I can tell of section 4.1.3 of http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/docs/update-1.1/Overview.xml ";" is being used to join operations in SPARQL Update. I fear that this will cause far too much confusion in people familiar with SQL. Has there been some WG decision in this area?
