Call for Exclusions: Three SPARQL specifications

Dear Advisory Committee representative,

This is a Call for Exclusions for the following Recommendation
Track documents:

 - SPARQL Query Language for RDF
  (http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-sparql-query/)
 - SPARQL Protocol for RDF
  (http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-sparql-protocol)
 - SPARQL Query Results XML Format
  (http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-sparql-XMLres/)

All exclusion opportunities end 1 June 2006.

This specification was produced by the RDF Data Access Working
Group Please use the following form to make exclusions.
 http://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/35463/exclude

Note: this is the 3rd for exclusions for this specification. Per
section 4.1 of the W3C Patent Policy [a], exclusions during this
exclusion opportunity are limited to subject matter not present
or apparent in the drafts available during the previous exclusion
opportunity:

Note: According to our usual procedures, this Call for Exclusions
(CFE) should have been sent when the document was published as a
Last Call Working Draft in February 2006. However, due to a bug
in our patent policy implementation (that has since been fixed),
we did not send out a CFE at that time. We are thus launching
this exclusion period with the publication of the Candidate
Recommendation. The exclusion period has the usual 60-day
duration. I note that the Working Group has expressed in the
Candidate Recommendation document that it does not plan to
request to advance to Proposed Recommendation sooner than 60 days
from today, which means that the exclusion period should not
influence the schedule of future publications.

If you do not wish to exclude patent claims during this exclusion
opportunity, no further action is required.
