The example in 10.4:

PREFIX foaf:    <http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/>
ASK  (?x foaf:name  "Alice" )

is not valid per the 17Feb05 [1] sparql grammar.  The AskClause[2]
production does not accept a triple pattern in the grammar.
