This list is for formal comments on the XQuery and related specifications.
The preferred way of raising such comments is in the Bugzilla system (see
the introduction to the specs for details); but raising them here is an
acceptable alternative. Either way, the comment will find its way onto an
agenda of the working group concerned, and will eventually receive a formal
response. This will often take some weeks. You may get personal responses
before the Working Group considers the comment, but they will have no
official standing.

If you want a quick discussion and the personal views of knowledgeable
people, then the talk @ x-query.com list is a better venue. If you want an
official interpretation from the W3C working group, you need to ask here or
on Bugzilla, but it will take longer.
