Till: I apologize that it has taken us so long to get to your comment in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-qt-comments/2004Feb/0338.html The joint WGs discussed this on 8/26/2004 and agreed to indicate that the type of the result of op:concatenate depends on the type of the oprators and to add an appropriate reference to the formal semantics document.
