[F&O] 10.2.5 - Whitespace separated?

In 10.2.5 it is indicated that the namespace prefixes are returned as a 
single xsd:string value.

However, it is not mentioned what separator is used if more than namespace 
prefix is returned. Presumably the value is not a simple concatenation of a 
succession of NCNames without any separator.
