Re: Feedback on WP

Thanks for the feedback, we are updating the publication by modifying the manifest as suggested and adding accessibility metadata.

With regard to issues of accessibility of multimedia and interactive content, the publication makes use of the HTML 5 <audio> tag and the <form> tag with JavaScript for validation. Both these technologies are not well supported by the current reading solutions for EPUB 3 (especially in conjunction with the screenreader), while via browser they do not present problems.

I have only one comment on the manifest. Per the text in the paragraph 4.5.2

"The resource list enumerates any additional resources used in the processing and rendering of a Web Publication that are not already listed in the default reading order."

there is no need to add all the entries from the Reading Order (ie, Text/Pinocchio-1.xhtml, Text/Pinocchio-2.xhtml, etc) in the "resources" list. That simplifies the structure of the manifest!

I would actually be very interested to see some more details on this remark:

I think it would be important for all of us to understand why this is indeed the case…
