PROV-ISSUE-248 (string-as-entity): How to model strings? [Formal Semantics]

http://www.w3.org/2011/prov/track/issues/248

Raised by: Luc Moreau
On product: Formal Semantics

Can the semantics tell us what the 'proper way' of doing it is? Can we suggest 'scruffy ways' do it?
