Re: [webpayments] [Architecture] Payment App is a term used in EMV to describe the applet stored in SC (#31)

So, "Payment App" is not a PSP or a Bank ... really, they just provide
the software. This doesn't mean that a bank can't also provide payment
apps. So, an entity can be a PSP, and provide a payment app.... or an
entity can just provide a payment app and rely on an external PSP.
