:+1: I think we're all on the same page here.

There is some interesting work to be done in the realm of open payment methods like Bitcoin so that standards are developed for payment app developers to implement but I'm not convinced that should be done by us or even within the W3C.

Unless there are those still opposed to the name based on it's similarity to EMV smart-card apps I am going to close this issue.
