use of bugzilla comments vs the list (Re: [Bug 25298] How to represent...)

Please ... when we have discussions that are not about the bug, but 
about general topics of IDL syntax, can we do them on the list and not 
in bugzilla?

Among other things, neither bugzilla nor the mail archive of bugzilla 
mail allow me to easily find comments by specific senders. Straight mail 
archives do.
