Yes, but times are changing and the Web is increasingly intimately woven 
into our daily activities. Yes, its crystal clear they don't care, so we 
have to help folks understand why they should take care (and lookout) 
for themselves. A company can only do so much based on its intrinsic 
nature (no matter how much BS and Exec will spew), so users have to 
kinda wake up and be a little more attentive re. where things are heading.

As you know, the WWW is evolving at warp speed! :-)
