Dear Monika

Start by going to the UNESCO web site, and search the Information and Communication portal, next try www.europeana.eu for European cultural heritage

Other useful sites for getting information about semantic web access to cultural heritage are www.kb.nl and http://www.cs.vu.nl/STITCH/links.html.

You may be interested to find out that 2010 is the UN International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures, which also addresses cultural heritage.

The best way to find links is through library projects aimed at digitization, providing open access or preservation of national archives etc. For libraries search useful links from the IFLA web site www.ifla.org (International Federation of Library Associations).

Are there any open datasets available to link with from the domain of cultural heritage.

Thanks,

Monika
