Hi all, I have looked at SMIL 3.0 [3] and found the following elements and attributes which are possible target for ITS rules. smilText element [1], div element [2] p element [3] span element [4] textDirection attribute [5] title attribute [6] I would propose to define a translateRule for these <its:translateRule selector="//s:smilText | //s:div | //s:p | //s:span | //s:textDirection | //s:@title" xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2007/07/SMIL30/"/> and propose to the SYMM Working Group that we write an non-normative appendix for their specification, showing how to create Localization Note, Terminology and Elements Within Text rules. If they agree, I would write that appendix. Cheers, Felix [0] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/ [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/smil-text.html [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/smil-text.html#edef-textDiv [3] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/smil-text.html#edef-textP [4] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/smil-text.html#edef-span [5] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/smil-text.html#adef-textDirection [6] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-SMIL3-20070713/smil-structure.html#adef-titleReceived on Tuesday, 28 August 2007 08:43:18 GMT
