Is there concern that screenreaders won't add support for ARIA? If so
we need to fix ARIA, if not I don't see this as a problem.

Given the trajectory for @longdesc over the past 10 years, I think
there's good reason to believe that implementations will support ARIA
before @longdesc sees any significant uptake.
