           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Spec bugs
        AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
        ReportedBy: simonp@opera.com

                CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org

It seems that the spec disagrees with browsers for the markup
"<select><script>". Browsers insert (and execute) the script.
