Hi,

please find below my comments to section 8.3. Namespaces
(http://www.w3.org/html/wg/html5/#namespaces)

Although this is very short section I think that it needs more
clarification.

The section consist only of this one sentence:

"The HTML namespace is: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"

I think that this very brief statement should be augmented at least by
link to the section 1.4 Terminology
(http://www.w3.org/html/wg/html5/#terminology) which describes that HTML
elements are treated as if they were XML elements in
http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml namespace for purposes of DOM and CSS

I will post more namespace related problems in different parts of the
draft spec in separate emails.
