I suggest the best way to get the TAG's attention is to send an email to www-tag@w3.org.  Perhaps a message that refers to the issue you tried to raise?

I tried to figure out how to raise an bug with the TAG. Is this the right way? http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/group/track/issues/new
