In the case of dl, there can be several (dt, dd) pairs. In the case of ruby, only one pair is allowed. Thus, error recovery is different. That's all. I wrote: "All arguments against rt apply to dt.". I have seen two arguments. The argument that rb is not widely used is very incorrect. The argument that span is always available certainly applies to dt.
