[Bug 13639] New: CSS2 System Colors Should Be Recognized

http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13639

Summary: CSS2 System Colors Should Be Recognized
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: a11y, a11ytf
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson)
        AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch
        ReportedBy: janina@rednote.net
         QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org,
                    public-html@w3.org

The HTML spec,
http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-html5-20110525/common-microsyntaxes.html#colors,
should explicitly
provide for support of CSS2 System Colors when users require them. This is a
long standing
accessibility concern, e.g. see:
