http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13574 Summary: Accessibility API support for dropzone Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: akirkpat@adobe.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org In the section discussing dropzone (http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-html5-20110525/dnd.html#dnd) there needs to be more instruction for user agents as to what roles/states need to be assigned to dropzone areas. User agents shouldn't be left guessing about how to communicate with accessibility APIs related to drag and drop areas. It is necessary to indicate to users that an area is available to drop content being dragged, and the way to accomplish this is not defined in the spec. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
