I think we are close to having the right set of tests. Please, if you have
a setup to test, put the results into the testing Wiki.

Please assign me an action to make a formal proposal to accept the tests I
have proposed, unless someone has further comments on them.

> agenda+	Longdesc LC Comments: Process and Responses

There are comments tracked in
https://www.w3.org/2006/02/lc-comments-tracker/44061/WD-html-longdesc-20130716/
and there are pointers to responses I have made

I propose to make no substantive changes in response to the comments, but
in response to the comments from James Craig I will propose to add a
statement to the effect that authors should not use longdesc as an excuse
for not achieving better accessibility with techniques like the use of
accessible SVG, or MathML instead of pictures of mathematical expressions
- in such cases longdesc should be considered a fallback for old
technology.

The rationale for rejecting the proposal to tighten the requirement on
making longdesc accessible through the UI is that we have looked at
several possiblities for implementation in Yandex, and most of them are
*not* similar to the way "normal" links are activated.

Please assign me an action to provide proposed responses to each comment.
I expect to work on it next thursday with Mark, after next week's meeting.

Reminder that the decision policy is still outstanding.
