Re: Questions related to "Add support for default values without the need of an instance element"

Nick & all,

It would be good if we did not need to introduce a new feature to  
canonical XForms to introduce this, but if we can't, we have two  
obvious choices:

* Drop the feature
* Introduce support for initial values in canonical XForms

Did we ever talk about doing the latter?
