Hi Santhanakrishnan, A sub-type is a type that is derived from another type (called its base type). In the context of XML Schema, a sub-type S of a base type B would specify B as its {base type definition}. A named sub-type is a sub-type that specifies a {name}. See [1] for more information about {base type definition}s. I hope this helps!, John [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#Complex_Type_Definitions _____ From: public-exi-request@w3.org [mailto:public-exi-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of santhanakrishnan Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2008 8:11 AM To: public-exi@w3.org Subject: [EXI] What are Sub Types ?
