Re: EOWG - Developing Presentations and Training

Hi Denis and Vivienne,

Thank you for putting so much thought into the timeline and action plan. I
know you both are very busy and it is with heartfelt thanks that I am
encouraged to see this progress.

I think the items in the plan are sound. I know that you will be giving it
all you got. Based on Vivienne's comment I am hopping that the initial
review of the resource (which doesn't have to be in great scrutiny), as
well as the planned revisions (for planning team) could take place faster.
Other editor teams are typically looking through the resource together by
phone and making the planned revision list (simple bullet points of what
you want to do) together in a meeting and then sending it in to planning
email. I think the time it takes to do that could be greatly shortened as
it won't take as long as you think. Then when we give you some feedback you
could be off and editing sooner. This may help meet the timeline goal of
end October.

Again, I say all of this with 100% respect to the work and priorities you
have in your own jobs, and understand if the timeline is the best case
scenario as is.

Thank you for pulling all of this together Denis. It is very helpful to see
how it is coming along and if there are things I can do to help.
Brent
