The distinction between 'extension' and 'profile' is not particularly useful under the open-world-assumption. The fact that only two sub-classes of `dcat:Resource` are defined in DCAT (i.e. `dcat:Dataset` and `dcat:DataService`) does not imply that these exhaust the scope of dcat:Resource.
