Last two sentences in the suggestion above are not clear > Such stand-alone resources SHOULD indicated via import or annotation mechanisms which specifications require each constraint. Profiles MUST use the "validation" role classifier to identify such resources if available. Here's my guess for what they mean: A standalone profile that inherits requirements from a 'parent' specification should indicate the source of those requirements via import(???) or annotation mechanisms.
