I would prefer that we keep it if possible. If not we will then have to
assume archives will filter on what they accept. Which is what they do
anyway, but it could still be good to recommend sending "good" files to
them.

As far as I could see from the logs it was removed because nobody saw a
usage for it and I wasn't there to argue for keeping it in ;-)
There is also this long lasting discussion on what is preservation and is
it in our scope that could have played a role.
