I've just finished a round of meetings with Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond,
North Vancouver and Delta here in BC and a common theme is the need for
Open Data standards to compare data sets on a regional basis.

I've suggested DCAT and told them about our work on DCAT+.  I will organize
a use case webinar with the City of Surrey, who have a marvelous open data
program built from the ground up.

I am going to organize a regional Open Data Smarter Cities workshop with
these 5 cities with my W3C hat on. The purpose will be to identify common
vocabulary standards for data comparability.

Let's discuss next week how this workshop can assist our standards work.
