Hi,

As you may know, W3C is holding a workshop in two weeks in Berlin on Web
and TV: http://www.w3.org/2010/11/web-and-tv/agenda.html

Among the papers that were submitted to the workshop [1], one of the
papers (from Connected Media Experience) highlights the lack of existing
solution to "to allow a web experience to utilize media in a standard
media library".

This looks close to some of the ideas that we discussed as use case for
the Media Gallery API.
