Hi,

Are we still planning to keep "Core Device Interfaces" [1] around? Given
that we seem to have agreed not to agree on a single host object for the
various API entry points, its sole value would be in the definition of
PendingOp, which looks a fairly limited win.

If we do want to keep it around, we probably ought to get it out as
FPWD, at least to accompany the last call of SysInfo.
