Update on Dublin Core progress

The DC RDF Validation group [0] has revised its requirements list, and
intends to complete this work in the next few weeks. The number of
requirements now stands at 39, but more reduction is expected.[1]

Once that work is complete, the group will further reduce the
requirements to a CORE (in keeping with DC's previous work). I have no
doubt that everything in the DC core will be included in the W3C
specifications, because the requirements will be very simple.

There is already some preliminary talk of tools for the creation of
profiles. These may not differ greatly from the simple profiles of
BIBFRAME.[2]
