N3 a candidate for XML query language for freedesktop.org

I just discovered this:

"A good alternative to the RDF/S/XML representation, but still getting
the best out of its semantics, is N3 (Notation 3). While RDF/S/XML might
look scary, N3 is user-friendly due to its high readability."
