This test: http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20100917/xhtml1/comments-006.xht is invalid because it assumes that character escapes are supported in comments. http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/syndata.html#characters is quite clear that they are not, where it says: # Except within CSS comments, any character ... -David -- L.
