Re: Verifiable Claims expiration

Moses,

I thought that omission of the expires property (https://w3c.github.io/vc-data-model/#expiration) results in an open-ended or non-expiring claim or statement.

Best regards,

About the expiration of a claim (4.3 in the data model) which is formatted as a date...

An expiration date is good for drivers licenses, commercial attestations and academic certifications, but shouldn't we include a global constant like NEVER_EXPIRE, so news statements can be explicitly non-expiring?
