In addition, there are two critical items that are still outstanding :-)

1. Creating a Wikiword (or Topic) for yourself. This saves time when 
trying to connect pre- or post these events (remember: networking is one 
of the main goals). You can simply use my Wikiword as a template [1]

2. Do register your intent to attend at Upcoming.com [2] or Eventful 
[3]. By doing this you broaden the audience for these events (we need as 
varied an audience as is achievable courtesy of infrastructure the web 
gives us).
