I’m still in strong favour of this.  It is one of the most sought-
after features, and as I detailed in my original proposal, the
workarounds for this are suboptimal.

Even though we are (very) late in the spec process, I don’t think it is
too hazardous to add at this time, although I’m also fine with delaying
it to level 2.
