Dear Advisory Committee representative,
Chairs,

The Browser Testing and Tools Working Group charter [1] is hereby
extended through December 2015.

The Working Group is working towards completing the work on the first
version of the WebDriver API, an interface and associated wire
protocol that allows programs to introspect into, and control the
behavior of, a Web browser. The first version is expected to be
completed by March 2015 and the charter has been updated as a
consequence.

Thank you for the time and effort provided by the Chair, Wilhelm Joys
Andersen, the editors of the specification, Simon Stewart (Facebook)
and David Burns (Mozilla), and the Group participants.

More information about the Browser Testing and Tools WG can be found
on its home page [3].

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Mike Smith, Team Contact <mike@w3.org>.

This extension follows section 6.2.5 of the W3C Process Document:

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director,
