[Fwd: Progress with "Relationship between Mobile Web Best Practices (MWBP) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)"]

I sent a message the other day but it didn't get through to the list.
this is an update based on last Tueday's call.

The last update to this document was in October 2008 [1]. Since that
time, the big change has been that WCAG 2.0 became a W3C recommendation.
The next stage in completing the document is for it to be reviewed by
the WCAG WG.

However there are still some edits pending, notably those from Shawn in
here posting of way back in July [2], some of those marked "I suggest
the following for this publication, but they are not required:" and I
think all those marked "Please consider these for the next version (or
the easy and non-controversial ones for this version)."

There are also editorial changes suggested by Lisa Pappas [3] just days
before I posted draft. Why weren't they included? I don't remember. But
they will be in the next version.

[updated] So to prepare the document for WCAG WG review there is only a
little work to do, and I hope to complete it this week in time for EOWG
before the call on Friday and before the BPWG call next Tuesday 27th.

best regards,

Alan
