Re: (4) Draft Agenda for Teleconference 3 September 2002 12:00 GMT

Dear PSO PC colleagues,

It is my understanding that point 4 of the Agenda for today's
teleconference includes the actual election of the candidate to occupy the
vacant PSO seat in the ICANN Board.

Having read the ICANN bylaws it is unclear to me whether absent members of
the PSO PC can make their votes available by means of proxy. Maybe Brian,
who is the member of the PSO PC having participated in previous voting
processes can indicate how to deal with the election procedure.

Until later today on the phone. Kind regards,
Azucena

5. Miscellaneous
6. Closing

If you have any other suggestions for the agenda (additions or deletions),
please forward them to me.

Note: we will be using the W3C Zakim bridge system for this
call. Participants must call into the bridge -- you will not be called.

Instructions on how to use the W3C Zakim teleconference bridge system:
Call the bridge (+1.617.761.6200). You will not hear a ring tone; the
bridge will pick up the call immediately. You will hear a voice prompt to
enter your conference code . Enter the assigned code (42266) and terminate
with the #' key. You do not need to wait for the prompt to finish to enter
the conference code. If many calls are being answered simultaneously, you
may hear music on hold' for a few seconds before the voice prompt plays.
You can enter your conference code during the music on hold' without
waiting for the prompt.

If you have difficulty entering the code; for example, the bridge says that
conference is restricted at this time' you can enter *0 and the bridge will
attempt to connect you a person. Whomever answers should be able to assist
you in connecting to your conference.

Please contact me with any questions. I look forward to speaking with you
tomorrow.

Regards,
Amy
